ABOUT MICHELLE MAGDALENA

Michelle Magdalena Maddox is a California-based visual artist. Her work gives a voice to the need for a connection to nature with her second Limited Edition Portfolio series of Nudes titled, "Resurgence" (also featured below) and the first "The Divine Feminine". She has taught photography workshops in Big Sur California and she has exhibited in Campaigns for Consciousness which focuses their efforts on Recycling, Alternative Energy, Future Water, and Environmental Toxicity. She is also a juror at the yearly "Who is Magdalena Festival" in New Orleans. Ms. Maddox studied at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA.

ARTIST STATEMENT

I was once asked the popular question, “what is your greatest strength and your greatest weakness” and I knew right away, they were one in the same. I am quite the intuitive person, so regardless of how prepared I am, or set on one idea I may be, I am always open and seeking new ideas or components; Watching the light, and following it with all my heart.
